you divide 6 by 3 and then multiply by 4 to get the total hours. Which equals 8 hours.

You said that                       3/4  x  Cleaning  =  6 hours

Multiply each side by  4 :    3    x Cleaning  =  24 hours

Divide each side by  3 :      1    x Cleaning  =   8 hours .
