If ef= 2x-7, fg= 3x-9, and eg= 19, find the values of x, ef, and fg

ef+fg =eg

2x-7 +3x-9 =19

5x-16=19

add 16 to each side

5x =35

x=7

ef = 2x-7

ef =2*7-7

ef =7

fg =3x-9

   = 3*7 -9

   = 21 -9

   = 12

Answer: x=7

      ef =7

fg =12
